The dust-proof ring is applied to the hydraulic pneumatic piston rod, which is mainly used to remove the dust attached to the outer surface of the piston cylinder block and prevent sand, water and pollutants from entering the sealed cylinder block.
At present, most of the dust rings actually used are made of rubber materials. Their working characteristics are dry friction, which requires rubber materials to have particularly good wear resistance and low compression permanent deformation performance. In recent years, it has also gradually promoted the use of new dust Seals with other materials and rubber materials, such as PTFE and O-ring combination, which has a good sealing effect. Long service life and increasingly extensive application.
At present, there are more and more kinds of dust-proof rings, which can be divided into many types according to their functions, characteristics, structural types and sealing mechanisms.
1. Divided by structure: rectangular dust seal ring; Chamfer dust seal ring; Foot shaped dust seal ring; J-shaped dust seal ring; Triangular dust seal ring.
2. By function: single acting dust seal ring; Double acting dust seal ring.
3. According to whether there is skeleton: no skeleton dust seal ring; Framework type dust seal ring.
4. Classified by combination: single type dust seal ring; Combined dust seal ring.
There is an oil film on the surface of the cylinder piston rod. Generally, there are always dust or sand particles in the use place of the oil cylinder, which will be brought into the oil cylinder if they are bonded with the oil film on the piston rod surface, and scratch the lip edge of the lip seal ring on the piston rod, or scratch the piston rod surface, which will cause medium leakage. Therefore, it is necessary to set a Dust Ring outside the piston rod seal ring near the end face of the cylinder barrel.
The dust ring is installed in the groove. Since there is a certain amount of interference between the lip of the dust ring and the piston rod, the lip of the dust ring is close to the surface of the piston rod.
When the piston rod moves to and fro, the dust and sand adhering to the surface of the piston rod will be removed by the dust ring. There is a certain clearance between the right section of the dust ring lip and the piston rod, which can reduce the friction resistance between the dust ring lip and the piston rod.
