How to distinguish the Y type seal between the shaft and the hole

How to distinguish the Y-type seal between the shaft and the hole can be confirmed by the following methods:
1. Distinguish from the inclination angle of the lip of the largest and smallest diameter sides of the Y-ring, that is, the inclination angle of the inner lip and the outer lip. If the inclination angle of the lip of the largest diameter side is smaller than the angle of the smallest diameter side, the side is used for the shaft, and vice versa for the hole.

The Y-ring Seals by the compression and tension of the inclined lip. The shaft is sealed by the stretching of the inner lip, so the inclination angle of the inner lip is large; the hole is sealed by the compression of the outer lip, so the inclination angle of the outer lip is large.

2. Identify by looking at the letters on the sealing ring; if it is D, it is for the hole, and if it is d, it is for the shaft.

According to the length and width ratio of the cross section, the Y-type sealing ring can be divided into a wide-type Y-type sealing ring, a narrow-type Y-type sealing ring and a Yx-type sealing ring.

The pressure resistance of the wide-section Y-seal is slightly smaller than that of the narrow Y-seal, and can only be used in the working environment of P<20MPa, while the narrow Y-seal can be used in the case of the working pressure of P<32MPa.
DSccCAccording to whether the height of the two lips is the same, the Y-type seal can be divided into Y-type seals with unequal height lips for shafts. The unequal-height lip Y-seal for holes and the constant-height lip Y-seal for shaft holes.

Y-seals are made of different materials, and can also be divided into nitrile rubber Y-seals, fluororubber Y-seals, polyurethane rubber Y-seals, etc.

Working speed range: 0.01~0.6m/s when made of nitrile rubber; 0.05~0.3m/s when made of fluororubber; 0.01~lm/s when made of polyurethane rubber.

The sealing performance, service life and working pressure limit of different retaining rings are all made of polyurethane rubber.
