What factors are related to the shrinkage rate of rubber O-rings?

As a common sealing auxiliary accessory, rubber O-rings are also critical to the shrinkage rate of rubber O-rings. Dongguan Guohao Sealing Ring will share with you what factors are generally related to the shrinkage rate of rubber O-rings?

1. It is related to the vulcanization temperature, the higher the temperature, the greater the shrinkage;
2. The smaller the filling amount of rubber products, the greater the shrinkage rate;
3. The greater the glue content of the vulcanized product, the greater the shrinkage rate;
4. It is worth mentioning that when the forming mold is a porous cavity, the shrinkage rate of the vulcanized O-ring in the middle cavity is larger than that of the vulcanized product in the edge cavity;
5. The shrinkage rate of the rubber material in the calendering direction and the flow direction in the mold is generally greater than the shrinkage rate in the vertical direction;
6. The shrinkage rate of the O-ring with a small wire diameter is larger than that of the large wire diameter o-ring;
7. The lower the hardness of the sealing ring, the worse the plasticity of the rubber compound and the greater the shrinkage rate.
